Alice Palumbo (b. 1987, Turin) is an Italian artist living and working in London. A current student of West Dean college, she started tapestry weaving in 2018 and has since developed tapestries for private clients on a commission basis. Treating weaving as a sort of slow painting, with colour at the heart of her practice, the process of creating her pieces begins with the discovery of and experimentation with colour, the palette informing its shape and proportionality.
